PARTS NEEDED FOR INSTALL

-1 5-15-24 bearing

-bearing oil

-2mm allen

-2.5mm allen

Installation & Step by Step:

machine down center of union slighlty if needed for bearing fitment to be slight press fit

shaft length will need to be 152mm and 187mm

after cutting clean splines then install into chassis. short shaft rear. long shaft front

spread small thin layer of grease or oil on bearing facing skidplate to mark bearing location

set skid plate on then remove and notch oil/grease location.

clean oil/grease off bearing and install skid plate

Step 1

flip Xmaxx upside down remove 8 (2.5mm) center skid plate bolts. Remove skid plate.

Step 2

Flip right side up. Remove 4 (2.5mm) front chassis & 2 (2.5mm) chassis brace bolts & 2 (2.5mm) countersunk chassis bolts & 1 (2mm) steering link bolt.

Step 3

Remove front bulkhead assembly and centershaft. watch for spline piece at rear to fall loose(remove with small magnet). Flip upsidedown install insert into chassis center (only fits one way)

Step 4

Install spline and rear (short) shaft into center/rear diff. Lift slightly and install center bearing assembly slide in and then down. Once installed install front (long) shaft.

Step 5

Line up front shaft and install front bulkhead. May need to rotate drivetain slightly to line up splines. Reverse procedure and install new skid plate.
