Here you go!\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003eThis replacement connector was designed specifically to fit into the EGR\n solenoid of a 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, but will fit into \nidentical EGR solenoids found on other General Motors products from the \nsame era.  On my car, the EGR solenoid valve itself was operational, but\n the connector in the car's wiring harness was very brittle and falling \napart, eventually causing the pins to short and blow the fuse for my \nECM.  To my dismay, the connectors in my parts vehicles were in no \nbetter shape and the connector appears to be discontinued.  Luckily, \nthis is where 3D printers come in!\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFirstly, check that the connector will fit your car's EGR \nsolenoid before going any further.  I can guarantee that they fit \nproperly in mid-1980's carbureted Monte Carlo's, Camaro's, etc. but the \nsolenoid designs did change in later years.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003ch3 id=\"installation\" class=\"anchor\"\u003eInstallation\u003ca class=\"anchor-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.printables.com\/model\/1486070-egr-solenoid-connector-1980s-gm-chevy-v8#installation\" aria-label=\"Link to Installation\"\u003e\u003ci class=\"fa-icon fa-solid fa-link\"\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\n\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cli\u003e1. Ensure the pins that fit in the connector are not damaged or bent. \n If the locking tab on the pin is bent down too badly, it will not lock \nin place inside the connector later.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e2.
