2x 165mm Speaker adapter Ring for 1997 Subaru Forester

This speaker adapter is designed to mount a pair of 165mm hertz speakers on the Subaru Forester (1997 generation)

The speakers are 165mm wide and he bought them from amazon (Hertz dcx 165). The adapter can be mounted on the front doors panel using the original screws and to link the speaker to the adapter you have to use the original screws plus one because it has four holes. To prevent vibration on the panel, it's recommended to put a little layer of insulation material on the adapter's surface that is in contact with the door's panel (as the original speaker mount). The adapter has two grooves, to pass the wires; and the higher depth of the speaker isn't a problem for the door glass (when you pull it down), it doesn't touch it.

They may fit other speakers, if the mounting pattern is the same.
